From boylesque to Ali Barter's house:this weekend's top gigs

Wouldn't it be great to go to Woodford Folk Festival this weekend? Instead,the iconic festival is coming to you. They're inviting some of their favourite acts to jump on theirFacebook page and do a show.

On Friday night it's those naughty boylesque scampsBriefs who have been turning the burlesque world upside down for years. Be titillated and entertained from the comfort of your couch from 6pm. BYO wine and feather boa. Next week tune in for Alice Skye on Tuesday,Benny Walker on Wednesday and Dale Chapman on Thursday.

On Saturday evening,dust off your evening wear and make your way to theMelbourne Digital Concert Hall where the MSO's Phillip Arkinstall,Christopher Cartlidge,Freya Franzen and Saul Lewis will perform (at an appropriate social distance) with Kristian Chong on piano.

The program is two masterworks from two of Germany's greatest composers:Bruch'sEight Pieces for Clarinet,Viola and Piano Op 83 and Brahms'Horn Trio in E flat major Op 40. Tickets are available on theMDCH website.

Meanwhile,Melbourne pop-rockerAli Barter has gone on tour ... in her home. Last week she started delivering a track from a different room every day including a particularly memorable one from her extremely well-organised pantry. It's set to wrap on Saturday when she arrives in her dining room to performGirlie Bits. Check out herYoutube.

Then,stay up late on Saturday night and tune in for NTS Radio's 24-hour Remote Utopias festival from 10pm Australian time running all the way through Sunday. The line-up is hectic withSkrillex,Jorja Smith,JPEGMAFIA,Bicep and Australia's ownTame Impala signing on to be part of the event,which is raising money for The Global Foodbank Network.
