This direct-trade coffee roaster has been around for 20 years,but it's a relative newcomer as an actual cafe. It's a large space done out in industrial chic,but there's something a bit'secret coffee lover's club'about it. Traffic whizzes manically past on North Road and yet here,it's a quiet coffee world where you can discuss your coffee with the barista,nibble on a danish (food is minimal),and choose a bag of beans to take home. The Urban house blend has a lovely cereal aroma with notes of roasted almonds,and there's a range of other equally transporting blends to try.
