Gauge Espresso

Cafe

For a small cafe with a tiny kitchen,Gauge Espresso punches above its weight, serving delicious home-made sandwiches, wraps and baguettes and fresh-outta-the-oven cakes and biscuits. Exposed brick walls and chunky wooden tables and stools deck out the unfussy interior. Lunch on a crusty baguette with tuna, mayonnaise, lemon zest, celery and cheese,or an egg and pancetta roll. Chatty owner Zeth Romanis - who knows his customers by name and coffee order - serves up smooth milk brews with Zero G beans from Brazil and Colombia from 6am,and trials a different black blend every fortnight.
