Nabiha

Cafe

Outside might be white collar and blue rinse (by reputation at least),but Nabiha's a den of cool in the middle of Moonee Ponds. It's a long, skinny space with towering cinder block walls and loops of bare bulbs crisscrossing above. Made on a fully manual Synesso,a short black has the warm scent of star anise. It's a great, punchy shot, with the flavour of grilled peach. There are separate blends for espresso and milk (custom roasted by 5 Senses),guest single origins as well as pourover and cold drip. Don't miss their takes on Lebanese pizzas, especially the spiced lamb or zaatar with labne and olives.
