The recently minted Warren&Hutch will have you at the first glimpse of caramel oozing from a pear and frangipane pie - if you can look past a duck-and-bean cassoulet rich with chicken and pork sausage. New owners have taken this place from a chicken shop-cum-deli to an eating place with serious food smarts and a strong conscience. The meats and produce for sale are locally sourced and (largely) organic and chemical free,from Meredith lamb and Barrabool beef to vegies from St Leonards. Breakfast is simple,the take-home meals are delectable,and service friendly.
