Bold flavours and fun vibes combine at this Enmore local, where it’s very easy to have a very good time.

Food is enjoyed family-style with plenty of small plates covering every inch of the table. Elbows bump as you reach for juicy chicken shawarma, there’s a tussle over the last of the ladies’ fingers – crisp, oversized filo cigars stuffed with spiced minced lamb – and bread is laden with smoky baba ghanoush or one of the many varieties of hummus.

Service is eternally efficient and friendly, and plant-based dishes are plentiful, such as crisp Brussels sprouts laden with a luscious and punchy combo of date syrup and tahini.

You may want to put your dessert order in early, too. Twenty-five minutes later, the knafeh will arrive,a dream of molten mozzarella and semolina pudding drizzled with orange blossom syrup.
