That's why the crowd is so fiercely loyal,coming back with kids,mums and colleagues for gorgeous,gutsy Di Gabriel caffe lattes ($3.50). Hippie Lane's high-fibre,wholegrain,I-can't-believe-it's-gluten-free cakes and fresh,toasty lunchtime sandwiches on Brasserie Bread add to the appeal. Owner Sam Gabrielian owns Di Gabriel coffee,hence the wall of coffee geekery and the 5 kilogram Toper roaster. Maybe this isn't a bit Melbourne,after all - maybe it's very Sydney.
