Dry Dock Hotel

Balmain's oldest licensed watering hole is also home to some of Balmain's oldest patrons. One of the original old man pubs,there's nothing trendy or schmick about the Dry Dock and there's even a faint whiff of stale beer and regret. Still,there's a certain rough charm to the place,assisted by a hefty array of draught and bottled beers and sturdy bistro fare. The bangers and mash will stop you in your tracks with an almighty ocean of onion gravy,while the fish'n'chips is equally comforting with a crispy Fat Yak beer batter encasing silky snapper fillets.
