This is an old-school sports pub - gambling,mammoth televisions,footy jerseys on the walls. If you walked in when it was empty,you'd fear that ordering anything but a pie and a schooner would start a blue. But surprise,surprise,the kitchen serves truly excellent Vietnamese fare - fragrant pho (seven varieties),wonderful buns and rice dishes. There's also steaks,fish'n'chips and a few Chinese standards. It's nothing glam - you line up,place your order,get a number,grab your own cutlery,pour tea and weave through masses of chattering families to a cramped table - but it's worth it.
