The surprise is,as you’d hope,seriously good food and pleasant,helpful service. A mixed meats plate of roast duck and barbecued pork sees duck emerge as the winning choice. Salt-and-pepper eggplant is encased in the lightest,crispest batter,while a special of ‘fish meat and egg yolk steams the beancurd’ (that’s steamed fish,egg yolk and beancurd) is another mouth-watering surprise. Well worth a detour from the kebab joints down the road.
