Silvas is charcoal grilling some of Sydney's tastiest and most authentic Portuguese chicken. The locals know this all too well,and put up with long takeaway queues to get their fix. Dining in is equally competitive,so be sure to book. The chicken with rice and chips is obligatory;it's smoky and charred,smothered with your choice of garlic or chilli sauce,or both. The menu is surprisingly adventurous with the likes of grilled whole sardines or buttery,lemony pipis;but even Silvas'simple chicken burger is a treat,as is the house-made creme caramel.
