Asian powerhouses Japan and South Korea will be joined by regional newcomers Australia at the Beijing Olympics football competition next year after coming through Wednesday's final qualifying round.
They join hosts China, who qualified automatically,as Asia's four representatives at next August's showpiece event.
Japan qualified for their fourth straight Olympic Games finals with a scoreless draw against Saudi Arabia in Tokyo to clinch top spot in Group C.
Another 0-0 draw with Bahrain in Seoul was enough for South Korea to book a sixth consecutive place for the Olympics.
Australia, qualifying through Asia for the first time for an Olympic tournament, equalised 20 minutes from time for a 1-1 draw in Group A with North Korea in Pyongyang.
Japan finished two points ahead of the Saudis on 11 points and will be in Beijing after appearances at the 1996,2000 and 2004 Olympics.
The Saudis had been hoping to reach the finals of the Olympic football tournament for the first time since 1996,while Japan only needed a point to go through.
"We couldn't play our game because of the Saudi attacks, but I was able to accomplish my mission,"Japan Olympic coach Yasuharu Sorimachi said.
"The national coach (Ivica Osim who suffered a stroke last week) has been worrying about the result,so I feel relieved that I can report a good result to him.
"We must improve our game further before the Beijing Olympics,"he added.
