Starc and fellow quick Josh Hazlewood had a long centre-wicket session with Donald,Australia's bowling coach for this tour,on Tuesday where reverse-swing had been the focus.
"With'AD',I have working on that delivery that got Mendis out pretty much with that reversing ball. I was pretty pleased that has come off throughout the tour and something I have worked with him on since being in Colombo and, obviously, through the last couple of weeks as well,"Starc said.
"'AD'has been great. I think we have all got a lot out of him so far and, hopefully, that continues for the rest of this Test and the third as well."
Donald, nicknamed White Lightning through his celebrated career, will be replaced by David Saker, the former Victorian coach, once this tour is over.
