Stirling Hinchliffe,who resigned from his role as Commonwealth Games and Transport minister as the Strachan report into Queensland Rail failures was handed down in February,will return to the cabinet.
He will be the Local Government,Racing and Multicultural Affairs Minister.
Grace Grace will get Education and keep Industrial Relations.
Kate Jones lost Education but kept Commonwealth Games and will also be the Tourism Industry Development Minister.
Treasurer Curtis Pitt will lose his ministry,withLabor nominating him for the role of Speaker.
Di Farmer will join the cabinet for the first time,getting Child Safety,Youth and Women and Prevention of Domestic and Family Violence,while Craig Crawford also got the call-up,becoming the Fire and Emergency Services Minister.
Premier Palaszczuk said her team was the right mix of experience and regional representation,and her government would prioritise jobs,health and education.
"Cabinet will have equal representation of men and women,and four of the five assistant ministers are women,"she said.
"Our job - over the next 1000 days - is to ensure all Queenslanders win whether it is winning with the opportunity for work;or winning with access to quality healthcare for them and their loved ones;or winning with best possible education for our children and access to skills and training for those joining or re-joining the workforce.
"Our government - of 25 men and 23 women - represents a state that will be soon be home to five million people spread across more than 1.7 million square kilometres."
The new cabinet will be sworn-in at Government House on Tuesday,while an LNP party room meeting will be held in the afternoon,to decide the new leadership.
