Just three years later,WORK180 is set to expand into the United Kingdom after raising $1 million from investors including Skip Capital,the private investment fund of Atlassian co-founder and rich lister Scott Farquhar.
Screening businesses
WORK180 only lists jobs from businesses that are pre-screened against a set of 20 criteria,including pay equity,flexible working,women in leadership and paid parental leave.
Lloyd and her former work colleague and co-chief executive,Valeria Ignatieva,self-funded the business. It now employs 11 people and turns over more than $1 million a year,with clients including Microsoft,Commonwealth Bank,BHP,Qantas and Telstra.
"If they meet a certain benchmark,they can advertise on our platform,"says Lloyd."The best thing is we have seen organisations improve their benchmarks."
