Markle and Prince Harry were at the Commonwealth Youth Forum, which was also attended by Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and Lucy Turnbull.
While her Camilla and Marc two-button blazer was a chic choice,it's her Oroton crossbody bag that has tongues in fashion circles wagging – in a good way.
For those not in the know,Oroton went intoadministration last year, with the brand falling victim to increased competition from overseas brands such as Michael Kors and Coach.
In March,Oroton creditors backed a $25-million rescue plan that will hand control of the retailer to major shareholder Will Vicars and safeguard 350 jobs.
Mr Vicars would be a happy man this morning after seeing Markle sporting Oroton'sAvalon bag, although the bad news for shoppers is the $295 bag has sold out online. It is still available in red,or in a tan and navy stripe, which is reduced to $145.
Oroton chief executive Ross Lane said Markle wearing the bag came as a pleasant surprise and it was a"huge endorsement of our new creative direction".
The company said in light of the bag's popularity,it would be restocking the style.
