"In the last 10 years we have built strong foundations,but we must keep building,"she said.
"We must continue to grow our party's membership and connect with more people,more younger people,more females,more diversity across this state."
Ms Frecklington took aim at the Palaszczuk government,accusing it of being out of touch with the regions,particularly in relation to itsvegetation management laws.
"These laws are based on flawed science,no consultation and a guillotined debate,"she said.
"These laws were passed for one reason,and that's to appease so-called environmentalists,who rarely set foot outside of their inner-city suburbs — they're as far from the bush as they could possibly get,they simply don't understand it."
Her comments were met by a supportive call of"shame"from an LNP member in the crowd.
Earlier this year,a report revealed Queensland had become a national hotspot for land clearing,accounting for 50 to 65 per cent of the total loss of native forests in Australia over the past four decades.
