"I have certainly made my feelings known internally and that is where they should stay. These are not issues which need to be,or should be aired publicly,"Senator Reynolds, who is now the Assistant Minister for Home Affairs, told Sky News on Wednesday morning.
"I am very confident with the Prime Minister’s handling of this and particularly how the whips are dealing with this. As far as I know, there have been no formal complaints made to the whips. Scott Morrison says it is not an issue,"Senator Reynolds said.
The night before the final ballot for the Liberal leadership Senator Reynolds said she"did not recognise the bullying and intimidation that has gone on".
Senator Reynolds'comments come a day after South Australian Liberal senator Lucy Gichuhi, who also raised concerns about bullying, said she had spoken with Mr Morrison about her concerns and left him to deal with the matter.
There have been no complaints about bullying put to the Liberal Party Whip in Federal Parliament,Nola Marino, and no plans for an internal investigation into the matter.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison told question time he was"absolutely satisfied there was no gender specific lobbying or pressure placed on members"during the lead up to the leadership ballot.
