Max was similarly philosophical, but suggested a move interstate would be more palatable if made with his brother.
"That's just a part of the draft that you could go interstate so whatever happens, happens,"Max said.
"I guess if I was to go interstate I'd like to go with Ben,that'd be pretty good, but after the trade period all the picks will be shuffled around so it's hard to tell."
Ben suggested there was room for both in the same AFL forward line.
“I definitely think there is room for both of us in the same forward line,” King said.
“I think at Haileybury last year we had both of us and it was good fun.”
Five months on from his knee reconstruction,Max appeared happy with his progress.
He said he had received advice from Melbourne defender Jake Lever, who needed a knee reconstruction late in his junior years and another one this season.
“I started running a couple of weeks ago,so it's getting there slowly. That was definitely the major milestone for me so it's great to start ticking the legs over again,"Max said.
"[Lever] gave me some great advice about the mental side of things and how to deal with that so that's been really good."
Max has also spent time at St Kilda this year during his recovery, and said he would be rapt to join the Saints.
"I'm a Saints supporter so it'd be great for me to end up there, but it's hard to tell at this stage so we'll see what happens,"he said.
Meanwhile midfielder Sam Walsh, who is favoured to go at pick one to Carlton, confirmed he had recently met with the Blues,as well as several other clubs.
“That was good to meet with them and they presented really well,” Walsh said.
“A few clubs have come down recently as well."
