The zipline, projected to cost $1.14 million over four years, would provide a 1.5-kilometre experience from the top of Mt Coot-tha,west of the lookout and across JC Slaughter Falls.
The appeal requests the court reject the zipline development as it will"result in the destruction of significant areas of vegetation"and will"adversely impact upon species of fauna".

The appeal claims the development application is in conflict with the Mt Coot-tha Neighbourhood Plan and the Koala Conservation Plan.
Claiming the development is"out of character and out of scale"with the mountain's development features, the appeal claims it would have an unacceptable impact on visual amenity in the region.
"Further, the extent of the development's visual impact has been underestimated and/or understated,"the appeal says.
Noise issues are also raised, while traffic plans for the development were"unsafe and inadequate".
