Logan City Council's Interim Administrator Tamara O’Shea.
Ms O'Shea was sent to Logan to manage the council after Local Government Minister Stirling Hinchliffesacked the entire council over corruption allegations levelled against eight councillors, including former mayor Luke Smith.
Four councillors who had raised the alarm and worked with the Crime and Corruption Commission during the watchdog's investigation – Darren Power,Jon Raven,Lisa Bradley and Laurie Koranski – were appointed to assist her.
"It was clear when I arrived that the community wanted changes to give them greater confidence in their next elected council,"Ms O'Shea said.

"As a group, the IMC agreed to an ambitious vision that would set the priorities and projects over the next nine months.
"Our IMC's vision is to restore the community's confidence in their local government by giving the next elected council the best possible foundations from which to successfully lead the city of Logan."
Ms O'Shea said the committee had set out aTransition to Council Plan detailing areas that the council needed to improve in across governance, planning, performance and community engagement.
