Lumumba has been calling for justice over how he was treated during his 10-year tenure at the Magpies, including allegations that he was given the nickname'Chimp'by teammates.
Lumumba also says Buckley asked him why he"threw the president under the bus"after the former defender spoke out against racist comments made by Eddie McGuire about Sydney champion Adam Goodes.

Buckley said he had not heard from Lumumba after he made an impassioned plea in last Thursday night's post-match press conference,in which he called for Lumumba to see how far the club had come in improving its culture.
"I haven't heard from H. I've reached out privately and of course made my comments after the game,"Buckley said.
"I think there's not a great deal to add there in the public forum. I think it's something we really need to get in touch with Heritier about and we're really looking forward to that opportunity."
