Annastacia Palaszczuk, the Premier, said:"I am asking Queenslanders to allow me to get on with the job of economic recovery".
The Labor campaign jetted straight to the mining capital of Queensland,Mount Isa,on Tuesday.
The outback seat also happens to be in the safest in the state,Traeger.
Traeger is held by cross-bencher Robbie Katter on a strong 28.5 per cent margin.
Both leaders have ruled out making deals with minor parties, but Mr Katter has previously toldBrisbane Timeshe would be open to working with both Labor and the LNP given the"very likely outcome"neither major party would form a government in their own right.
But his cards remain close to his chest.
