"There are people in this state who are heading into 2021 with a great degree of uncertainty,"he told the LNP party room in Brisbane on Thursday.
"Think of those small business owners who are wondering what life will be like next year as some of the federal support comes off.
"We need to be there fighting for them,fighting in the corner to give them every opportunity there is to prosper economically."
The leadership ballot came as the Electoral Commission of Queensland announced a recount of votes for the electorates of Bundaberg and Nicklin,at the request of the LNP.
Labor finished just 11 votes ahead in Bundaberg and 79 in Nicklin.
The new leadership team was elected at a gathering of LNP politicians at Parliament House in on Thursday morning.
Mr Crisafulli ran unopposed and Mr Janetzki beat three other contenders for the deputy role,Steve Minnikin,Dale Last and Christian Rowan.
