BBL: The Melbourne Renegades'Sam Harper has danced down the wicket more than anyone in the BBL over the past two seasons (101 times) ahead of Jonathan Wells (95)."He[Harper] can go in four directions - he can go forward in the crease,he can get deep in the crease,he can give himself room and he can go the other way to give himself room to play his lap shots and flick over square leg,"said Renegades coach Michael Klinger. Sydney Sixers star Josh Phillipe also has quick footwork.
International: Former Australian batsman Adam Voges said Steve Smith and de Villiers boast the best footwork."Their footwork allows them access to 360-degree shots to both pace and spin,"he said.

PURE POWER

BBL: Chris Lynn brings the muscle better than anyone. The Brisbane Heat star has crunched almost twice the number of sixes of anyone in the BBL - 146,with Aaron Finch (83) - next best - and leads in runs from slogs in BBL history (334),again ahead of Finch (228) and Ben Cutting (164). Woodhill said bowlers needed to avoid deliveries aimed at Lynn's off stump."Whereas he doesn't have the same range as de Villiers,he has a similar capacity,"he said.
International: It's hard to past Gayle but Lynn and Stoinis are also among the leaders in this category.

WRIST MOVEMENT

BBL: Sydney Thunder star Usman Khawaja leads the BBL in runs (198) through his flicks which often involve hitting across the line. Hobart Hurricanes'Matthew Wade (176) can also terrorise bowlers by finding gaps."'Ussie'manipulates the field so well with those wrists - he has got all the different gears he can go through,to rotating the strike to having that power as well,"Klinger said.

International: England pair Jason Roy (Perth Scorchers) and Sam Billings (Sydney Thunder) have a snap of the wrist that can wreak havoc. Pakistan's Babar Azam is also class.

WEIGHT TRANSFER

BBL: Hard-hitting Englishman Jos Buttler has only been dismissed once when playing on the front foot over the past two BBL seasons,thumping 118 runs in the process – the best rate of any man to score at least 50 front-foot runs in that time.

International: Woodhill says Maxwell,a BBL and international star,has a special ability to hit through the ball."No one transfers their weight through the ball better than Maxi in the BBL. If you get full to Maxi,you are in trouble because he can hit you over cover point or step inside and hit you over the back of square leg,"he said."Finch uses his feet well to spinners but Maxi's strength is that he hits the ball so late that he transfers his whole body through."

BOWLING

BBL: Strong shoulder rotation has allowed the Afghanistan leg-spinner Rashid Khan to collect the more wickets than any bowler in the BBL across the past three seasons. Former Australian all-rounder Lisa Sthalekar said Rashid's quick"arm speed"made it difficult to pick his wrong-un."He wants the ball against the best players,"she said.

International:Rashid,the No.1 ranked ICC T20 bowler,holds his place here but T20 insiders also point to South Africa's Kagiso Rabada,India's Jasprit Bumrah,New Zealand's Trent Boult and Australians Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins.

FIELDING

BBL: Maxwell has the edge here,too. West Indian Dwayne Bravo has excelled but Maxwell has taken more catches rated"medium"or"hard"over the past two BBL seasons.
International: India's Ravindra Jadeja,Suresh Raina and Kohli can be all be lethal. West Indian giant Kieron Pollard and Australian Steve Smith are also among the world's best.
