Mr Hunt’s offer on Monday had come with a swipe at the state for not ordering any doses of the vaccine for July or August after allocations of 67,000 in June,1000 in May and 60,000 in April.
Ms D’Ath,who said she heard about the offer through the media, said on Tuesday this was due to the state’s priority vaccine groups – frontline workers and 40- to 60-year-olds – requiring Pfizer instead.
