Masks will need to be worn at all times except when seated to eat or drink,outdoors or in a workplace and able to stay 1.5 metres away from others,or if you are a primary school student.

This includes at all times in stadiums (even while seated,unless eating or drinking),in airports and on flights leaving or entering the state.

What are the limits on SEQ gathering sizes?

Under the changes,30 people will be allowed to gather in homes (including those who normally live there) and public spaces.

100 attendees will be allowed at weddings and funerals. A maximum of 20 people will be able to dance at weddings.

For businesses and venues?

Density limits will lift to one person per four square metres,or one per two square metres for smaller venues below 200 square metres in size and outdoor areas.

Places with allocated and ticketed seating will be able to fill to 75 per cent of their capacity.

People must still be seated to eat or drink. Dancing is only allowed as part of weddings and limited to 20 people.

How about stadiums,events and community sport?

All community sport training,competition and school sport can resume. Spectators will be allowed in line with requirements across all other indoor,outdoor and stadium events.

These restrictions limit capacity to the same level as businesses and venues above. But people must wear masks even while seated,unless eating and drinking.

What will restrictions look like beyond the south-east?

Outside the 11 LGAs,the rest of Queensland can welcome 100 people into homes and gather unrestricted in public places.

Indoor weddings and funerals can host 200 people or one per two square metres,or 100 per cent of the allocated and ticketed seating capacity — whichever is larger. All guests can dance.

All indoor businesses and venues are also subject to the one person per two square metres limit or 100 per cent if ticketed and allocated seating. The same limit is in place for indoor events with no limits on those outdoors.

In stadiums,people must continue to wear a mask unless eating and drinking while seated.
