Revealing the “double doughnut” news in Logan on Thursday morning,a culturally diverse city south of Brisbane that had among the lowest vaccine rates nationwide, with only 13.2 per cent fully vaccinated,Ms Palaszczuk called for multicultural Queenslanders to get vaccinated.

She said there were no current plans to launch 24-hour hubs, but the government was looking at opening vaccination clinics in school halls, community centres and mobile vans.

“For us to do that,we need the supply,” she said.

Up to 1500 vaccines were being delivered every day at the Logan Entertainment Centre.

Another 90,000 people joined the Queensland Health waiting list for a vaccine on Wednesday night, with 190,000 now on the list.

There are now 1800 people in home quarantine, with 14,336 tests performed in the past 24 hours.
