They are looking to freshen up the football department with Steve Hocking to take over fromBrian Cook as CEO in the next fortnight.

The Cats had offered Cook a role overseeing the club’s foundation and the final stages of the redevelopment at GMHBA Stadium before the Blues approached him to replace Cain Liddle as CEO.

Meanwhile,Tim English’s girlfriend Rudi Ellis is expected to join West Coast Fever in the Super Netball but the move is unlikely to have any effect on English’s career at the Bulldogs with the ruckman contracted until 2022. Ellis has been playing netball in Brisbane this season.
