The event was cancelled just 14 minutes after it began,with police dispersing the crowds and paramedics treating several people who collapsed and required medical assistance.
WA Police inspector Vic Hussey said the decision was unavoidable.
“The last thing we wanted to do was spoil their enjoyment,but the last thing we wanted to see was someone get hurt,” he said.
