As a renter,I see ads for solar panels and say"not for me"- but that may change with this new project.
Canberra renters could soon be able to buy their own piece of renewable energy when a new community solar farm in the Majura Valley goes online. The new farm from Solarshare is expected to make $360,000 a year,including money coming from ACT government subsidies it agreed to with the government on Thursday.

Construction on a multi-million dollar ice rink in Canberra could be delayed until after the 2020 election,despite a 2016 government promise to start building within four years.
But the government hopes the prospect of making $2 million per year,if 150,000 people attended a two-storey,two-rink facility,could attract investors to the project.

Pilots have to keep their eyes on a lot of things,but this new Canberra-based technology will track just what they are looking at.
A Canberra technology company will deliver eye-tracking capability to a flight simulator at a"major"Australian airline that will improve pilots'skills across different aircraft. Seeing Machines,which is listed on the London Stock Exchange but based in Canberra,develops systems that track the eye movement of equipment operators to identify and prevent fatigue,with applications in the mining,automotive and now aviation sectors.

Canberra Raiders skipper Jarrod Croker says a new co-captaincy partnership with Josh Hodgson can help lift the Green Machine to a new level next year. Croker and Hodgson will form a tag-team leadership combination in the hope of guiding Canberra back to the finals for the first time since 2016.
