Denmark has traditionally respected the privacy of its royal family. But now with King Frederik and Queen Mary on the throne things could be about to change.

King Frederik X has acceded to the Danish throne after his mother,Queen Margrethe,formally signed her abdication.
In a white dress and ruby jewellery,Mary flew the Danish flag with stellar results.
