This place was surely not this crowded,loud and inner-west-cool in its past life as a corner store. Nowadays waitstaff squeeze between tables - single file,breathing in - with petite but flavour-packed servings of Lebanese fare. Try ladies fingers - crisp filo pastry cigars filled with an aromatic mix of lamb mince,pinenuts and pomegranate molasses - or'golden balls',the crunchy shell encasing a stretchy,cheesy centre,topped with cherry syrup. Roasted eggplant is melting and moreish,while fattoush salad wows with plenty of crunch plus the zip and zing of lemon,sumac and mint.
