An old-school eatery opposite Rockdale train station with a covered outdoor seating area,Spicciatevi surprises with its lunch menu of fine Balkan-style chargrilled meats. Resist,if you can,the juicy veal shish kebabs in favour of pljeskavica. Also known as a ‘rock burger’,the minced meat patty comes with grilled Turkish bread,sour cream and onion,as do cevapi,stubby skinless sausages (the large serve gets you 10 snags). Lovacka pljeskavica is a half-moon pocket of seasoned minced meat filled with ham,mushroom and melty cheese. A brekkie menu covers more basic bacon and egg combos - cheap,too.
