"We just got out-enthused and out-played,mistakes are all a part of that,but a couple cost us dearly,and they got the momentum and put us to the sword,''Bennett said.
"At half-time the game was lost and we just had to try and salvage what we could. And we did a pretty good job in the second half.
"I made a mistake tonight putting Adam Doueihi on the wing. He hasn't played there before,but he's played with such confidence in every position we've put him in when we've had all the injuries - he's played halfback,five-eighth and fullback and handled them all well - I thought he'd handle that,but it was maybe a bridge too far for him at this stage in his footy career.
Souths have plenty of quality and with Bennett in their corner cannot be written off.
