Three firefighting crews attended the scene where they removed the e-scooter from the home and extinguished the blaze.

They then continued to ventilate the home.

A man in his forties with burns to his back was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital,while a man in his fifties with smoke inhalation was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

One woman in her thirties with minor burns to her hands and a teenage girl with smoke inhalation were rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Another teenage girl was taken to Queensland Children’s Hospital with smoke inhalation.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said they were all in stable condition.

Fire investigators arrived at the scene at 8.30am.
