“Following a safety and security review and with the advice of WA Police, our security providers and the City of Swan,we are not satisfied in the interests of public safety for this event to occur at the Midvale Central Shopping Centre car park on Saturday 11 February,” a Woolworths spokesman said.
“We know this is disappointing for customers and fans of Prime drinks, however, public safety must come first.”
The spokesman also refuted discussion on social media that there was another event planned at its Town Hall store in Sydney planned for February 13.
“There is no event planned,” he said.
“We would like to reiterate that there is no planned activity with Prime at any Woolworths stores ahead of the drinks being on sale exclusively within our stores later this month.”
It is not the first time an internet celebrity has caused WA Police headaches by riling up Perth’s youth.
In August 2022police had to shut down a meet and greet with TikTok and OnlyFans influencer Anna Paul as several people were hospitalised.
