To cater for the crush,Melbourne’s free-tram zone will be extended to the MCG from midnight on Thursday to midnight on Sunday,soEras Tour attendees andTaylor-gatorscan travel to and from the city for free.
About 150 metropolitan train services will also be added over the three nights,while extra capacity has been added across regional lines.
The Taylor Swift effect has seen an uptick in bookings in Melbourne hotels andSwift-themed events launched for before,during and after the highly anticipated concerts.
Transport Minister Gabrielle Williams said the star’s biggest Australian shows would have the same impact on the transport network as three AFL grand finals back-to-back.

“That’s why we’re encouraging everyone attending to plan ahead and take public transport to get to the ’G,” Williams said.
Fans have been warned to plan their travel ahead,with train station and road closures across Melbourne likely to disrupt people’s usual journeys.
